What is a Cancer Council SA Ambassador?

An Ambassador is a volunteer representative of Cancer Council SA.

Cancer Council AmbassadorsCancer Council SA Ambassadors are ordinary South Australians from all walks of life who are connected by their common desire to make a real difference in the fight to beat cancer. Ambassadors partner with Cancer Council SA, taking action to beat cancer in their homes, workplaces, schools, universities, sporting clubs - in fact, everywhere.

What will Ambassadors do?

Cancer Council SA Ambassadors will have the opportunity to take action on cancer prevention, cancer support and fundraising activities, including:

  • representing Cancer Council SA at community events
  • promoting and championing fundraising events
  • communicating cancer prevention messages
  • generating awareness of Cancer Council SA’s support services with local community
  • leading volunteer teams and projects
  • taking leadership for Cancer Council SA in local communities and workplaces.
