Internship and Work Experience
Cancer Council SA welcomes students in their final year of study to apply for an internship.
The aim of the volunteer internship program is to establish a mutually beneficial relationship between Cancer Council SA and the participating intern(s) through the following;
What’s involved? You will be working on a real project that will make a difference to the Cancer Council and the community. We will also provide you with a thorough induction to the organisation and you work team. Interviews
How much time do I need to commit?
Internships will be six to eight months in length, depending on placement availability and will require students to commit a minimum of 1 day per week.
You will be provided with a Supervisor/mentor and you will be part of a supportive and friendly unit/team. Where will I be based? Internship and work experience opportunities are available at our Greenhill Road office. You should contact us to see what openings there may be coming up. Application for placements Where possible, we ask you to submit your application to us a minimum of 8 weeks prior to the planned commencement date of your placement. |
